Cancellation Policy
APPOINTMENTS Should you need to cancel, reschedule, or make a change to your existing appointment, please contact me ASAP. ​ PREPARING HAIR BEFORE APPOINTMENT All clients must arrive with their hair thoroughly washed, blow dried straight, and free of knots and products - NO EXCEPTIONS. Your hair must be free from products, gels or leave-in conditioners. If you prefer a shampoo service, please add it on to your appointment. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE The Hot Seat By Kerri reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior. ​ APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS A deposit is required at the time of booking for all services (excluding consultations). Last minute cancellations have a great impact on my business. Because of this, if you cancel your appointment less than 48 hrs before the scheduled time, your deposit will NOT be refunded. If you reschedule at least 48 hrs before your appointment, your deposit may be transferred to the rescheduled appointment. ​ LATE POLICY Please contact me ASAP if you are running late. I offer a 10 minute grace period. If you are running late more than 10 minutes past your appointment time, you WILL be charged a late payment fee of $25. During busy times, your appointment may be cancelled if you are more than 10 minutes late and your deposit will not be returned; however, you are free to reschedule before the rescheduling window closes (48 hours). ​ NO SHOWS If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and do not contact me to cancel, you will be required to pay in full before booking any braiding services in the future. Payments can be made via cash, card, or Apple Pay. ​ RESCHEDULING If your deposit has been paid, but you want to reschedule to a different date, please note that you can only reschedule ONCE. If you fail to reschedule within 48 hours AND fail to arrive to your rescheduled appointment, your deposit will be lost. ​ ​ REFUNDS ON HAIR BRAIDING SERVICES There are NO REFUNDS on any braiding services. If you do not like the service during the process or you are not satisfied with the end result, please advise me immediately. I am happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge. Once you leave my suite, a free corrective service is no longer an option. ​ CHILD POLICY Children are welcome; however, please ensure they are not causing disruptions during your appointment.
